I rarely ever buy magazines anymore, I rely on my free magazine subscriptions for what I like to read. Paying 15-25$ per magazine subscription can be a bit costly. Instead I find free samples and subscriptions for any magazines I want. From sports to parenting magazines you can find all of them for free.
