With April officially being Earth month (Earth day is April 22nd) major stores are doing their part to help. Plastic bags can take as long as 1,000 years to break down, that’s an obvious problem.

To help this problem Kroger is giving away free Kroger reusable shopping bags. Everyone who submits a design for the bag will receive a free one. The best design winner will receive $500 from Kroger and have their design in stores.

Walmart is also giving away free reusable bags this weekend on April 19th. They are giving away 1 million custom-made reusable shopping bags at 9am local time.

With your new reusable bags, might as well break them in at the grocery store. We have plenty of printable grocery coupons that can save you money on products that you buy everyday.
